Muji Cleansing Oil (for sensitive skin)

Thorough makeup remover is really really important! I couldn’t emphasise this enough!

Removing makeup is important but you need to make sure it’s removed throughly!

I’ve been through a couple of makeup removers and so far, I’m loving this one the most!

The Muji Cleansing Oil (for sensitive skin) really removes face makeup thoroughly!

Muji Cleansing Oil

I’ve been using this cleansing oil for almost one month now and I must say I’m really loving it!

More about the Cleansing Oil

For those of you who are able to read Japanese, you might wish to take a look at the information at the back of the bottle. Click the picture to enlarge it.

For those of you who are Japanese illiterate (me included), let me highlight some information to you!

Muji Cleansing Oil

The Muji Cleansing Oil, formulated for sensitive skin, is made from 100% botanical contents! It is fragrance-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free!  Awesome!

How to use (based on my experience and attempting to understand the Japanese instructions): Using a sufficient amount, massage your face to remove makeup. After that, use a sufficient amount of water (don’t use too much) to emulsify the cleansing oil. Continue to massage for about a minute before rinsing your face with water. For me, I will follow by a gentle cleanser to ensure that all traces of makeup are removed.

Muji Cleansing Oil

Ingredients wise I can’t really help much with my limited Japanese knowledge… But I know the first ingredient is Olive Oil! 🙂 I’ve heard of people using olive oil to remove makeup (and they’re raving about it) so with this knowledge, I decided to try out the Muji Cleansing Oil for sensitive skin!!

Review

I totally heart this makeup remover! ^^

First of all, it’s easy to emulsify and wash away!

It removes face makeup thoroughly! I used a piece of cotton pad soaked with toner to wipe my face after washing off the cleansing oil and the cotton is CLEAN! But being the paranoid me, I will follow with a GENTLE cleanser (I use the Eucerin Dermopurifyer Gel Cleanser) after washing off the cleansing oil. Do note that if you use a harsher cleanser, your skin might feel very dry/tight which was what happened to me! =/

As for waterproof mascara, it would be better to use a separate remover as I feel that the Muji Cleansing Oil doesn’t remove the waterproof mascara thoroughly/easily.

Best of all, it didn’t give me breakouts unlike the Biore Cleansing Oil (really sad since the Biore Cleasning Oil in pink bottle is raved by many)!

Price wise, it’s pretty affordable if you get the bigger bottle! 50ml for S$5.90 and 300ml for S$13. I’m currently using the 50ml bottle and the size is pretty suitable for long overseas trips!

You can find this cleaning oil in Muji outlets in Singapore.

All in all, since I don’t wear mascara often, I think this cleansing oil is good and affordable for me! I will definitely repurchase!

Do go give it try~ 😉
