G-Market Global Haul #3

Shopping at G-Market Global is SO ADDICTIVE πŸ™‚

G-Market Global Haul #3

From the point of ordering to shipping out of the actual parcel, it took 11 working days but due to the Chuseok – Korean Thanksgiving Holiday (I think it’s Mid-Autumn Festival for us) from 21st to 23rd Sept, it’s essentially 8 working days. I guess some sellers actually closed for holidays earlier that’s why some of the items were delayed =x

Overseas Shipping

via DPD again (actually I wanted to test EMS this time round but I clicked wrongly and didn’t realise it =/)

and it took AN AMAZING 2 DAYS. omo. SERIOUS! See the printscreen below!

The Parcel ^^

See how filled the parcel was!

G-Market Global Haul #3

But sadly, not all were mine. Some were my sister’s, my friend’s and other spree-ers…

My Own Loots

1. Etude House
See how generous the seller is with the bubblewrap! My previous experiences with them were also the same! Thumbs up!

G-Market Global Haul #3

Unwrapping my items… and TADA~! From left to right, Dr. Oil Solution Anti Shine BB Lotion SPF20/PA++, Dr. Oil Solution Shine Free Mist, MINI SIZE U Set and 55 Kissful Tint Chou in 01 Red.

G-Market Global Haul #3

And my GWP! Earphones (the sound quality is pretty good thou it’s already one of the earphones had already gone “crazy” after one week’s use…), Velco Ribbon (which I just realised that I coincidentally aligned it on Park Shin Hye’s hair LOL) and a box of cotton pads. Hmmm.. I was hoping for skincare samples/trials set more though the earphones came in time cos my headphones died on me =/ though I guess I have to really invest in a good one now >_>

2. Baviphat
Another skincare haul from Baviphat ^^ A fast and efficient seller who sent my purchases within two days to the warehouse, just like the above Etude House seller! ^^

G-Market Global Haul #3

Haix. Since they bubble-wrapped my stuff, why did they still put in such a big box? But still, I’m happy to see the loots in good conditions! From left to right, AC Therapy SOS Spot Solution, AC Therapy SOS Cleansing Foam, Mini Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack 6g and AC Therapy SOS Cream. Sadly, this seller did not give me any GWP =/

3. Baseball Hat
Other than skincare, I hauled a baseball hat from this seller as well XD

G-Market Global Haul #3

4. Bra
I’m not going to show you how my bra looks like but here the link to the seller which gave a matching panty with bra though I thought you need to pay extra for the panty. GWP? kekeke Here’s how the packaging look like:

5. Shoes

My booties (from this seller) came in a purple box

G-Market Global Haul #3

and here’s the pair of booties ^^

G-Market Global Haul #3

It’s so PRETTY! I know my picture doesn’t do justice to it but korean booties are just so chic ^^
And it came with extra heels rubber (eh, not too sure what’s the correct name… but I hope everyone get the idea?) Really nice to have these extras so I can wear the booties for the longest time ^^!

G-Market Global Haul #3

One of my sis’s shoes from this seller came in this box

G-Market Global Haul #3

And it turned out to be the pink wedges ^^

Close up~

G-Market Global Haul #3

And we discover a feedback form (in korean) in the box? How do I fill that up?>_>

G-Market Global Haul #3

Actually we prefer that the sellers ship the shoes without the boxes >_> It’ll be lighter ya? This particular seller shipped the following pair of shoes without the box, in a plastic wrap.

6. Wig

Kekeke.. I bought a long fringe wig =p which came in a big box like this

G-Market Global Haul #3

The wig came nicely in a net and it was sealed in a clean ziplock bag πŸ™‚ Nice!

G-Market Global Haul #3

And the reason why it came in a big box it because the seller was nice enough to give me a crunchy curly bun as GWP! Thanks!

Okies I think I covered pretty my of my loot from G-Market πŸ˜› I know I haven really review everything cos the rest belongs to either my sis/friends/spree-ers so not in a position to comment much. γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹

I’m going to give 10/10 full marks for the shopping experience and customer service this time round. Hahah.. Nothing much to pick on except that next time I better check the Korean Holidays first before making an order! If not, it may be another long wait like this time.

So hey, fellow G-Market addicts (or addicts-to-be), remember to do check the Korean Holidays first before making an order! ^^

Anyway, G-Market shopping is definitely addictive and fun once you get use to seeing korean words. γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹

PS.Β γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ means kekeke in English

How did find that shoes fit ? We’re they close to the size you wanted? I’m weary of ordering shoes because I always have to try them before I buy them even when I think a size will fit.

And thank you for another great haul review! And what’s a spree? When other people order with you?

    • #3 by Raquel Rin on September 26, 2011 - 00:03

Thank you for the compliements ^^

The shoes fit nicely πŸ™‚ I understand your concern cos I’m also pretty worried as well but it turned ok luckily! I think this conversion table is pretty accurate: http://www.korea4expats.com/article-womens-shoes-size-conversion-chart.html But of course, do take in the cutting/type of shoes into consideration! If you’re unsure, buying a size bigger would be on the safe side for covered shoes since if it’s too small, adding an insole will help!

In this case, a gmarket spree is like a mass order purchase event whereby the spree organiser consolidates orders from different people (i.e. the spree-ers) and make a purchase a at Gmarket. The purpose is to save on the shipping costs since the more you purchase, the cheaper the shipping costs of each item! Hope that is clear! Hahaha

Then how do the spree-ers get there orders? And who is doing all the paying? Do you organize sprees?

      • #5 by Raquel Rin on September 26, 2011 - 00:33

The spree-ers will make a payment (usually the total price of the items) to the spree organiser for the items they want to buy. The spree organisers will pay Gmarket when the spree organiser orders. Any top-ups (like exchange rate differences, shipping costs, handling fees etc) will be collected from the spree-ers after the items arrive.

The spree-ers can opt for snail mail or even meet-ups to collect the items.

Yup, I do organise sprees. Hahaha

So it’s really just to lower shipping costs? Hmm. Interesting, I guess that’s why my friend’s friend asked if we wanted to order something with her.

I think I would like to be apart of one since the shipping costs really do seem pricey, but I’m all the way in the US D:.

Ya, it’s the shipping that kills really. So of course I welcome more people to join me as I buy from Gmarket! Hahaha!

You can do your own spree! Gather your friends or even your family members!
